LaKe Mead Nevada, the nice places to spend your holiday time

nevada-lake-meadLake Mead is great places to spend your summer time, because if you comes at the summer times here you will see the sandy beaches and also the warm sun at this lake. Lake Mead located in Southern Nevada and Northern Arizona. Lake mead Nevada is composed of five basins which are capable of storing close to two years of water flow from the Colorado River.

Actually this Lake Mead are near with the Hoover Dam, so there many visitors when they have plan o spend the time with seeing the Hoover Dam, they also can visiting this Lake. So spend your holiday here you will get two views, from the Dam and also from the lake. A great way to visit the Hoover Dam and Lake Mead is to take one of the Lake Mead cruises.

Don’t worried, when you visiting this lake, you not only seeing the blue of the lake but also you can doing some recreational activities, such as Boating, Skiiing, Jet Skiiing, Fishing, Swimming, Kayaking, Houseboating, Hiking, Camping, Wildlife Viewing. Beside that if you interested in wildlife, Lake Mead Nevada has a diverse variety of plant and animal life. Over 240 different types of birds inhabit the area. There are also over 55 types of mammals that call the Lake Mead, Nevada region their home.

If you would like to go fishing on Lake Mead, you must carry a valid fishing license. If your fishing license is for Arizona, and you plan to fish from a boat or other craft on Lake Mead, you must have a “use stamp” from Nevada. Fishing here actually you can catch largemouth bass, striped bass, channel catfish, crappie, and bluegill.

The best time and month go here to have some fishing activities, such as :
* In December though February are excellent for crappie, stripers and bass.
* In March through May, you will find stripers, bass and bluegill.
* In June through August, bass, catfish and bluegill fishing is at their best. However, there is still decent striper fishing at 30 feet.
* From September through November, stripers can be found in shallow water. Bass fishing in Lake Mead will be good until the end of October. Crappie fishing in Lake Mead usually picks up as the water cools. Have a great feel here !

Even lake is so Quiet to see and feels but we can have a lot of experiences here, and I’m sure this could be the great moment that you can feels here. Beside that lake actually used for recreation, and sports.
