Ehmmm….This is so beautiful and romantic place to spend and enjoy your vacation.Lanai is a small island in the Hawaiian Islands that can be applied with the aircraft approximately 30 minutes from Honolulu or Kahului (Maui). The length of this island only 18 miles (27 km) wide and approximately 13 miles (21 km) with the Elevation varies from sea level to 3,400 ft (1,036 m).Although small, Lanai has beautiful grove forest and “untouched” that has wide range and surrounded by hidden (secluded) white sand beach. Away from the crowd / noise of the city, no stoplight, quiet and peaceful. In addition to the Golf, Lanai offers “exciting adventures” both land and sea.
Lanai, is romantic island in the past is famous as Pineapple Island. Because nearly for 70 years, Lanai has largest pineapple plantation in the world to reach the 18,000 acres owned and operated by Dole Food Co. In 1986 Pineapple Industry decrease and eventually closed and turned into tourism object. Several years after it was built 2 fruit Resorts with Golf Courses.
When you are traveling to Lanai, you will enjoy the beautiful scenery along the road.You can use jeep as your transportation. This trail will bring you to the top of Lanaihale mountain at an altitude of 3368 ft dpl so that it can be seen 5 neighboring Islands such as Maui, Molokai, Kahoolawe, Oahu and the Big Island.
Beside you can enjoy the beauty scenery of mountain, you can also enjoy Natural beauty of “Shipwreck Beach” with Molokai island backround.
