Doing an Hiking Trails at Killarney Lake

killarney-lakeDo you ever doing an Killiarney hiking at Lake ………… well maybe this plan should be considering in your decisions. Killiarney Lake offers the perfect to doing trip with hiking trails. This trip need at least 20 minutes by ferry from horseshoe bay but to make sensation and a great moment, this more better if you doing all this things to do with walking.

After the ferry terminal to extract, you can continue the journey with a walk on Bowen island here where you can take a snack as the stock Killiarney Lake. To get to the start of the trail, go right onto the first street called Cardena Drive and walk about 100 meters to a green and yellow GVRD parks sign on the left of the road. Here you will see 4 crossing and you must walk straight and then When you reach the 3-way intersection, go right to the pasture that is open. Continue straight through the Meadow and across a wooden bridge to another 3-way Junction. Go left towards a fork in the trail. Both of these trails lead to Lake Killarney, however follow the trail to the left and later return from the trail on the right.

If you reach this stage, Killiarney lake akan tree visible through the slit and if you continue the journey for ten minutes then you will be up on this lake. Continue along the trail as it wraps around Killarney Lake, crossing several boardwalks and bridges along the route. On the north end of the lake, the trail exists onto a wooden Boardwalk where dead cedar stumps stick up from the marsh. The eerie looking stumps of cedar trees are very strong and take decades to decay.

Continue your walk around Killarney Lake by walking back into the forest. You continue to walk around Killarney Lake by walking back into the forest. The trail along the east side of the lake meanders through Groves of cedar and Hemlock. A short path leads to another view  point of the lake. Take in a view from this point, the only hiking trail offers glimpses of the lake as it wanders around and over small hills that surround the lake.

Surely it is not a very comfortable, whether you are interested in doing trail in this place, if you are interested please come and prove own. If you go to this place from the center of Vancouver, you should take bus 257 or 250 to express horseshoe bay ferry terminal, and then you take the purpose of Bowen Island fery.
