Ponte Vecchio bridge …. do you ever heard before this bridge, this bridge is well in Italy. The Ponte Vecchio (Italian for Old Bridge) is a Medieval bridge over the River Arno, in Florence, Italy. The bridge consists of three segmental arches, the main arch has a span of 30 meters the two side arches each span 27 meters. The rise of the arches is between 3.5 and 4.4 meters, and the span to rise ratio 5:1. The bridge was built in the year 1345.
This bridge is different because we met a lot of shops that built besides this bridge, and that this is a very different and unique. Ponte Vecchio is a neighbor of the two bridge Ponte Santa Trinità and the Ponte alle Grazie.
Ponte Vecchio is the oldest and most famous bridge in Florence Italy. Locals and tourists love to visit this beautiful bridge which spans the Arno River and search for jewelry store that is located above the bridge.
